In this section we take a look at twelve different types of organisation, briefly discuss the various options and try to provide some guidance on prices.
Please note that charities and voluntary organisations are also covered by these categories, you simply need to choose the most appropriate activity description.

Services companies
A services company does not create or distribute any physical products. Examples include bankers, financiers, lawyers, accountants, insurance brokers, therapists, designers, architects, estate agents and charities.
Please note that travel agencies are covered in the following section.

Travel agencies
This section covers travel companies which organise trips for the customers. In other words, travel agents.
Companies which actually deliver transport and accommodation services on the ground are covered in other sections, notably those on transport, hospitality, accommodation and leisure.

Retail companies
A retail company buys and sells physical goods. This category covers all kinds of retailers, including online operations, community shops, high street stores and retail warehouses.

Transport operators
This section covers companies which organise the commercial movement of people, including airlines, train operators, bus operators and taxi companies.

Healthcare providers
This healthcare category includes organisations which use specialist medical equipment, materials and environments in the delivery of their services. It therefore includes a wide range of practitioners, from small dentist surgeries to large hospitals.
If your healthcare company offers therapies without the extensive use of specialist equipment (psychologists, osteopaths, physiotherapists etc.), please refer to the section on services companies.

Entertainment and leisure
This category includes companies which provide entertainment and leisure facilities such as spas, gyms, spectator sports, cinemas, theatres, concerts, festivals and other events.

Hospitality companies
This hospitality category includes any organisation whose primary activity is selling food and drink for immediate consumption, including bars, cafes, restaurants, fast food outlets, takeaways and vending machine operators.
It does not include food stores, which are covered under retail companies.

Accommodation companies
This accommodation category includes any organisation which offers overnight sleeping facilities, including hotels, lodges, resorts, guesthouses and campgrounds.

Agricultural producers
This category covers companies which are involved in the primary production of food and drink ingredients, including field crops, orchard fruits and nuts, animal products, honey and seafood, as well as simple on-farm processing into products like sausages, fruit juices and wines.
It does not include companies which are involved in the production of more complex foods and drinks, which are covered under manufacturing.

Raw material producers
This category includes companies involved in the primary extraction of raw materials such as minerals, fossil fuels, chemicals and timber, as well as processing into base products like lumber, bricks, cement, metals, plastics, fibres, fabrics and pigments.

Manufacturing companies
This category includes companies involved in all types of manufacturing, from small-scale cottage industries to large-scale industrial production lines.

Construction companies
This category includes all companies which are involved in the construction and rennovation of buildings, from domestic housing to large commercial projects, including sub-contractors and specialist trades.
It does not include building design services such as architectural and engineering practices, which are covered under services.
